AAHGS 2015 Conference

Richmond, Virginia. The Ric Murphy Book Tour Bus stopped in Richmond, Virginia where he attended the African American Historical and Genealogical Society's 2015 Conference. It was an extremely successful book signing where it seemed that the lines for signed books didn't end. He is standing next to two of his cousins, Saundra Shelley from the Chicago area, and Joe Anderson from the San Francisco area. Can't wait until next year's conference in Atlanta, GA.

South Shore Genealogical Society of Hanover

Hanover, Massachusetts. The Ric Murphy Book Tour Bus attended a number of book signings in the Boston area, including the South Shore Genealogical Society of Hanover, Massachusetts at their 2015 Annual Meeting. It was a beautiful New England spring day, and there were over 100 attendees with a lot of good questions. I look forward to being invited when I complete my next book, Cuffe's Lane. The east coast storms canceled most Freedom Road book signings, presentations and speaking engagements. However, Ric Murphy had several radio show interviews celebrating Black History Month and signed books at the Association for the Study of African American Life and History, Inc.’s 89th Annual Black History Luncheon and Featured Authors Event in Washington, DC.
